Voronezh machine-building enterprises are taking part in the autumn stage of the All-Russian campaign "Week without Turnstiles", organized by the Russian Engineering Union in cooperation with the League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises. In the Voronezh Region, the project is traditionally supported by the regional branch of Soyuzmash andBank Novikom, part of the RT-Finance holding of Rostec State Corporation. The initiative is aimed at early career guidance for young people and the popularization of engineering professions.
In 2025, the main events of the campaign will be held from October 13 to October 19. In the Voronezh Region, the leading machine-building companies of the region joined the project: VTSKB Polyus JSC, Concern Constellation JSC, NIIET JSC, VNII Vega JSC, Tyazhmehpress JSC and RIF JSC.
As part of the "Week without turnstiles", schoolchildren and students will be able to see the inside of production facilities, get acquainted with modern equipment, communicate with engineers and craftsmen, learn about sought-after professions and employment prospects. Many excursions are accompanied by demonstrations of technological processes, meetings with young specialists, and presentations of internship programs.
"Today it is extremely important to show young people that engineering and working professions are not just a craft, but the basis of the technological development of the country. The Week Without Turnstiles helps schoolchildren and students to see modern industry with their own eyes and consciously choose a path in the manufacturing sector," said Anatoly Kuznetsov, Chairman of the Voronezh Regional Branch of the Russian Engineering Union.
Novikom,, whose Chairman of the Management Board oversees the Voronezh branch, traditionally supports career guidance projects of Soyuzmash of Russia aimed at strengthening the human resources potential of the domestic industry. The Bank also implements its own initiatives, cooperating with engineering universities, contributing to the development of specialist training programs and increasing the prestige of engineering professions.
"The formation of a new generation of engineers is a strategic task for the industry. By supporting the initiatives of the Russian Engineering Union, we are contributing to the development of the personnel reserve and the sustainable future of high—tech industries," said Ilya Lazukin, Head of the Novikom, office in Voronezh.
The "Week without Turnstiles" campaign has been held twice a year since 2015 — in April and October. Over the past ten years, it has been attended by more than 2.7 million people, for whom more than 15,000 enterprises across the country have opened their doors.
