From January 9 to August 31, 2025, specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Republic of Mordovia and the Penza region controlled 3.93 thousand tons of grain for export from the Penza region, of which: food flax – 3.19 thousand tons, mustard seeds – 344 tons, feed vetch – 216 tons, dried lentils — 88 tons, dried chickpeas - 66 tons, buckwheat groats – 22 tons.
In August, 147 tons of mustard seeds were exported.
Flax seeds were exported to Belarus, Latvia, Belgium, dried lentils and buckwheat groats to Turkey, mustard seeds to Germany, vetch to Belarus, dried chickpeas to Turkey.
During the inspection, samples from quarantined products were taken and sent to the Penza branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIKR" for examination to establish a quarantine phytosanitary condition. All the grain studied met the requirements of the importing countries. The shipments were shipped both by rail and by road, accompanied by phytosanitary certificates.
