Starting today, Aeroflot is setting a fixed 50% discount on all available Economy class fares when purchasing air tickets for children from 2 to 12 years old for flights across Russia with a departure date of 01.01.2025*.

A 50% discount for children with Russian Federation citizenship applies to any Economy class fare on the entire domestic route network and on Aeroflot Group flights operated under the SU code. For fares under special preferential programs, such as government-subsidized transportation and "flat" fares, the previously established discount amount remains.

Aeroflot is traditionally one of the favorite brands of Russian families. In the first 11 months of 2024, Aeroflot and Rossiya Airlines carried out economy class flights to domestic destinations for more than 1.3 million children aged 2 to 12 years. According to the airline's statistics, most children fly from Russian cities to Sochi and Kaliningrad.

Aeroflot provides a wide range of services for children. Small passengers will receive free travel kits on board. Babies are provided with a cradle. Special baby food can be ordered no later than 36 hours before takeoff. Unaccompanied children from 5 to 16 years old can use the transportation under the supervision of the airline.

One of the priorities of the largest Russian airline is to provide affordable flights to the maximum number of social categories of the population. Starting in 2022, the airline also offers special fares for the older generation and young people. The program covers most domestic lines, while there is no restriction on the number of seats provided at special discounted rates. For 11 months of 2024, 367 thousand passengers took advantage of this preferential transportation program from Aeroflot.

*Transportation contracts concluded before 12/23/2024 are subject to the conditions that are current as of the registration date.
