Cosmos Petrozavodsk Hotel has launched an interactive assistant "Aino", which now greets guests and is the hallmark of the hotel. This is a digital 3D avatar created by Karelian specialists with the participation of the Center for Artificial Intelligence of Petrozavodsk State University.
The digital assistant "Aino" is presented in the form of a hologram, and the prototype of the 3D avatar is a girl character from the Karelo-Finnish epic Kalevala named Aino. The technology was created by Petrozavodsk State University specialists specifically for the stand of the Republic of Karelia, which operated during the international exhibition and forum "Russia" in Moscow at VDNH and attracted great attention from the guests of the exhibition.
At Cosmos Petrozavodsk Hotel, the Aino digital assistant communicates with guests and conducts a dialogue in real time. Aino also acts as a digital guide and tells about the republic, the history of the region, famous figures, culture, industry, sports and fictional characters from the epic Kalevala and the epics of Zaonezhye. The plans are to teach Aino knowledge about the Cosmos Hotel Group's hospitality universe in order to introduce the guests of Karelia to Cosmos hotels in more detail.

Marina Nozhenko, a specialist of the Kizhi Museum-Reserve, a historian-translator, singer of songs in the Karelian language, winner of the "Best Guide of Russia" competition of the Russian Geographical Society and Laureate of the Year of the Republic of Karelia, also took part in creating and reviving the image of the digital assistant "Aino". She was chosen as the face of the republic according to the results of popular voting in social networks. As a result, the 3D model of the Karelian girl Aino received the voice and appearance of Marina Nozhenko, as well as an outfit in the form of a modern national costume.
