The solemn ceremony of laying the second domestic vessel for catching and transporting live crabs of Project 6135 took place at the Nobel Brothers Shipyard of the Kalashnikov Concern in Moscow. Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region.
The customer of the vessel is Vostok LLC (Vladivostok). The fishing company signed a contract with the shipyard for the construction of two live crab carriers in April this year. The vessel was designed by specialists of the Marine Engineering Center of St. Petersburg.
It is intended for fishing, sorting and transporting live crab in the Far Eastern fisheries basin: in the waters of the northeastern and northwestern parts of the Pacific Ocean. Modern equipment for crab fishing with cone traps will be installed on board, followed by sorting, weighing and transporting 80-100 tons of crustaceans in special insulated tanks with cooled seawater.
It should be noted that the krabolov-zhivovoz of project 6135 is a unique vessel in terms of its engineering and running characteristics, and a set of components. But the main feature of the project is the first domestic crabber, which is fully designed and will be built in Of Russia.

Recall that the first vessel for catching and transporting live crabs of project 6135 was laid at the shipyard exactly a month ago, on August 30. These live crab carriers will be built as part of the second phase of the Keel Quotas program.
