Belarus and Armenia agree on joint production

Belarus and Armenia has agreed on joint production of elevators. This is what the Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia said Alexander Konyuk said in an interview with the ArmInfo information company, BelTA reports.

"We managed to agree on the imminent establishment of the assembly of elevators for multi-storey buildings in Armenia. Mogilev-made elevators are already appearing in multi-storey buildings in Yerevan, as the company won the tender announced by the Mayor's office of the Armenian capital back in 2019. We really hope that this year we will become its winner," Alexander Konyuk said.

According to him, the parties consider it necessary to start joint assembly of elevators in Armenia, and ensuring maximum localization of their production. "The management of Mogilevliftmash contacted me the other day. - Approx. BELTA), and we were just seriously talking about creating an assembly plant here in Armenia," the ambassador said.

According to him, the maintenance of Mogilev elevators is already being adjusted in Yerevan. "We will start with service, then localization and assembly production," the diplomat added.
