This was stated by the Director General of the State Corporation "Roscosmos" Yuri Borisov at a meeting with representatives of the microelectronic industry, which was held on Friday at the holding "Russian Space Systems" (part of Roscosmos).
The meeting concerned the supply of electronic component base of domestic production. Also during it, the head of Roscosmos heard a report on the work of the RCS and the formation of a space instrumentation holding on its basis.
At the enterprise, samples of unified instruments for promising spacecraft were presented to Yuri Borisov.
In addition, the production and technological capabilities of the holding were demonstrated to him at the RCS — target equipment for navigation, remote sensing of the Earth and communications, reception and control complexes, a test complex of onboard instruments and systems, a certification center for elements and equipment.
The head of the State Corporation inspected the printed circuit board workshop, where serial production of products from domestic materials was organized, as well as the microelectronics workshop, in which the guests were shown technological routes for creating innovative products for space.
