Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1965 dated December 28, 2024, aimed at extending the simplified procedure for implementing priority infrastructure modernization and expansion projects, has entered into force.
Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1965, signed on December 28, 2024, extends the definition of the "construction stage" in relation to road transport facilities included in the relevant list of related infrastructure until 2033. The provisions of the document have been adopted, among other things, to increase the capacity of the Baikal-Amur and Trans-Siberian railways. The document extended the powers of the Russian Ministry of Construction to establish requirements for the composition and content of technical requirements and conditions, as well as to prepare design documentation necessary for the reconstruction and overhaul of existing linear facilities.
The extension of the relevant provisions of the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation is aimed at reducing the financial and time costs of construction organizations in the implementation of projects of artificial engineering facilities, including buildings and structures of railway infrastructure.
In addition, the validity periods of existing regulatory legal acts have been brought into line with the deadlines set out in Federal Law No. 254-FZ of July 31, 2020.
