On the last Saturday of April, Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan LLC completed the spring landscaping of both industrial and social facilities. Throughout April, more than a thousand gas workers on their days off and off cleaned up and took out the debris left over from the winter, dug up trees and shrubs, painted curbs, put territories and playgrounds in order.
The work was carried out at 30 facilities, 7 of which are social: sponsored kindergartens, the Pushkin Children's Health Center, the Medical and Sanitary Unit, and the apple orchard in the Krasnoyarsk Secondary School No. 2. The massive landing of Astrakhan gas producers transformed the Patriot Park in the village of Krasny Yar: benches and urns were painted, green spaces were put in order, garbage and fallen leaves were removed, and the pedestal of the stele in honor of the internationalist soldiers was cleaned.
"A few years ago, we signed an agreement on socio-economic partnership with the leadership of the Krasnoyarsk Region. As part of the agreement, we have held many charity and patriotic events and, of course, clean-up days. Work is also underway on the territories of Krasny Yar schools. This concern is our common cause with the people of Krasnoyarsk, and we are doing all these good deeds together," said Andrey Melnichenko, CEO of Gazprom Dobycha Astrakhan, during a clean—up day in Patriot Park, where the leaders and deputies of the Krasnoyarsk Municipal District of the Astrakhan Region joined the environmental initiative of the gas workers.
During a series of clean-up days in April, Astrakhan gas producers removed dozens of tons of garbage, dug in and whitewashed more than 1.5 thousand trees, cleaned and painted more than 12 km of curbs, and put about 50 different children's play forms in order.
