Gazprom Neft will act as an official partner of the first All-Russian IT Games and will send more than a thousand of its employees from different regions to the competition. The tournament starts with the support of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Education and Science.

The new educational project aims to improve national digital literacy and skills in working with Russian software. The special feature of the tournament is that it is not a classic programming championship, but a test of the skills of specialists to integrate ready-made IT products into a real business. The qualifying stage will be held in the online testing format, and the final will be held on May 29, 2026 at the SKK arena. Blinova in Omsk.

For Gazprom Neft, the development of IT competencies among employees of all professions – from geologists to logisticians and marketers – is a long-term priority. The company plans to train most office staff in advanced analytics and working with neural networks to automate routine tasks.

"We strive to be the first to test and implement the best Russian IT solutions. But any software reveals its potential only in the hands of specialists who know how to integrate it into real business processes. The All-Russian IT Games are an open platform for such talents from all over the country. We give participants access to advanced tools and large–scale tasks, and together with our partners we receive new practical solutions, feedback for product development and strong people in our talent pool. In addition, the games have an important function: following the results of the final, the participants will prepare a pool of proposals for the refinement and development of Russian IT products for the Ministry of Finance."
Anton Dumin, Chief Information Officer, Gazprom Neft

In addition to Gazprom Neft, the partners of the All-Russian IT Games are Sber Tech, 1C, Orion soft, P7 and other technology companies.
