The Northern Ocean company will launch a new production of raw materials for the manufacture of sodium heparin, an antithrombolytic agent used in medicine, in the Moscow region of Voskresensk. To implement the project, the investor signed an agreement under which he was granted a land plot for rent for 1 ruble per year, the press service of the Ministry of Property of the region reports.

"The company's investment volume is 850 million rubles. 300 jobs will be created at the enterprise, which will be located on the site provided under the regional program of support for import-substituting industries. It is expected that in three years the production will begin production of raw materials for the production of pharmaceutical substance-Heparin powder, and this will compensate for the needs of the Russian market, as well as the markets of the CIS countries, in these products," said Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow region Ekaterina Zinovieva.

To date, over 50 investment projects will be implemented in the Moscow Region within the framework of the "Land for 1 Ruble" program.

"During the anti-crisis measure, since March last year, more than 60 land plots per ruble have been provided as regional support for the construction of new modern production facilities and the expansion of existing ones. The ruble lease agreement has already been signed by 55 investors. It is important that among the import-substituting companies participating in the preferential program, there are such as the Northern Ocean company, whose products are important not only for the economy of the Moscow region, but also for the lives of our citizens," said Natalia Adigamova, Minister of Property Relations of the Moscow Region.

Sodium heparin reduces blood clotting and prevents the formation of blood clots. It is obtained from the mucous membrane of the small intestine of animals. The company will also produce natural sausage casings from processed raw materials.
