MWS Cloud, part of MTS Web Services, has completed a large-scale expansion of the cloud infrastructure in the Far East, increasing computing capacity in Vladivostok by 3 times. The new resources allow companies in the region to access high-performance cloud solutions without having to invest in expensive equipment or wait for its delivery.
To enhance the VMware-based cloud platform, modern servers with 3.25GHz high-frequency processors and a large amount of RAM were installed in the local data center. This configuration provides optimal conditions for high-load systems, large databases, SAP-level enterprise solutions, and 1C systems. It will also be possible to deploy other MWS Cloud solutions at the new facilities, such as data analytics tools or office applications from domestic developers.
Connection to the new facilities is carried out through a single MWS Cloud Platform interface, where you can conveniently manage all your own resources in one place. While the flexible Pay-as-you-go pricing model allows you to pay only for the actual power consumption, which is especially convenient for variable loads and seasonal fluctuations in traffic.
The virtual infrastructure is deployed in the data center and meets the TIER III reliability level, which is especially important for ensuring fault tolerance of IT systems and data security of local companies. Earlier, in 2025, MWS Cloud also expanded its computing capacity in Siberia by 3.3 times.
"We strive for companies in different parts of the country to be able to access cloud resources near their production sites. As part of this strategy, several years ago, MWS Cloud launched an accessibility zone in Vladivostok. Over the years, the consumption of cloud services in the Far East has grown significantly. Therefore, in order to meet the computing power needs of local businesses, MWS Cloud has more than tripled its capacity in the Vladivostok data center. This will allow local businesses to further increase the use of cloud capacity and scale their own IT systems faster," said Pavel Bragin, Director of the MTS Web Services (MWS) Computing, Storage and Infrastructure product stream.
