The subsidiary bank of Rostec State Corporation handed over to the creator of the National Collection of Payment cards, the editor-in-chief of RIA "Banks and Finance" Ivan Vorontsov, copies of payment cards issued over the 31-year history of NOVIKOM. The Collection Fund has been replenished with more than 30 samples of payment cards with a unique design.
During its history, NOVIKOM has issued cards of the payment systems Mir, Visa, Mastercard, Union Card categories Classic/Standard, Gold, Platinum, Infinite. Mir Premium and Mir Supreme cards are now available to the bank's customers.
The designs of the cards transferred to the collection by NOVIKOM are quite diverse: along with images of the legendary products of Rostec State Corporation enterprises - a KAMAZ truck, KA-226, KA-52 helicopters – the bank produced, for example, samples with floral motifs referring to the traditional folk crafts of Russia – Khokhloma and Zhostovo paintings. For employees of some large industrial holdings – the main clients of the bank – NOVIKOM issues co-branded cards with the symbols of the partner company and a design reflecting its activities.
After the rebranding announced in May this year, the design of NOVIKOM payment cards has become more concise and technological. The current design uses the bank's signature colors – purple, lilac and graphite, as well as patterns that convey the style of engineering graphics. 3D modeling techniques are used in the development of co-branded card designs.
The national collection of payment cards has been in existence since 2012. Its goal is to preserve the history of the country's banking system through the uniqueness of plastic. To date, the collection includes about 11,000 cards from 600 Russian banks.
