Roscosmos presented public safety monitoring systems at an exhibition in Belarus

Roscosmos State Corporation will take part in the first International Exhibition of the security Industry "National Security" from June 22 to June 25, 2022. Belarus — 2022" in Minsk (Republic of Belarus). The Roscosmos delegation is headed by Mikhail Khaylov, Deputy Director General for Space Complexes and Systems.

The event is organized by the State Secretariat of the Security Council and The Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the republican unitary enterprise "National Exhibition Center "BelExpo".

Taking into account the strategic partnership of the Russian Federation with the Republic of Belarus in the conditions of increasing tension on the external contour of the Union State, as well as the CSTO member states, the issues of ensuring collective security have now acquired special importance.

The use of modern public security monitoring systems, crime prevention tools, integrated systems of anti-terrorist and extremist protection of state, socially significant and industrial facilities is becoming an undoubted priority.

Within the framework of the exhibition, working meetings of representatives of Roscosmos and organizations of the Russian rocket and space industry with the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and representatives of interested organizations and departments of the republic are planned to discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the space sphere and visit enterprises to familiarize themselves with their scientific and technical potential.

In addition, the State Corporation "Roscosmos" presents an exposition with a total area of 42 square meters. meter (stand # P4) in the Russian segment of the exhibition pavilion. Samples of the orbital satellite constellation of Russia are demonstrated at the stand: mock-ups of the Canopus-V spacecraft and the highly detailed video surveillance of the VNIIEM Corporation being created by the Russian-Belarusian spacecraft, materials on the Arctic-M highly elliptical hydrometeorological system and the Lavochkin NPO Electro-L hydrometeorological spacecraft.

Representatives of the Gonets Satellite System are presenting satellite products based on the Gonets system: the Gonets-Case emergency communication module, industry-specific boxed solutions for remote monitoring of mobile and stationary objects in the transport, oil and gas industries, as well as for environmental protection. Also on display are samples of manufactured rocket technology: models of launch vehicles "Angara-A5" and "Angara-1.2" M.V.Khrunichev State Space Research Center and Ground-based Space Infrastructure: a mock-up of the launch pad for the Angara launch vehicle at the Vostochny Cosmodrome from TsENKI.
