The branch of Rosgosstrakh in the Sverdlovsk region acted as a partner of the search and rescue marathon organized by the Uralspas project, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region with the participation of the Orenburg Cossack Army and the support of the Ogneborets company. During the event, more than 20 teams from the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen regions and the Republic of Bashkortostan performed search and rescue missions in an area of 145 square kilometers for 36 hours.
The goal of the marathon is to improve the skills of both employees of professional search and rescue units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and volunteers from voluntary search teams. The organizers of the event prepared quite serious tasks for the participants to search and rescue the "victims", and the weather provided additional difficulties — they had to work in heavy rain and at very low summer temperatures. But all the teams successfully completed the tasks and received high marks from the judges. The winners of the marathon received prizes and memorable gifts from Rosgosstrakh.
