From January 12 to March 17, 2026, officials of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Tyumen Region, Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrugs identified 9,5 thousand hectares of land overgrown with weeds and woody shrubs.
For operational monitoring of soil conditions and ensuring the safety of agricultural lands, technologies of remote sensing of the Earth (remote sensing), the Spatial Data Portal of the National Spatial Data System, were used (nspd.gov.ru ), the Unified Federal Information System on Agricultural Lands (EFIS ZSN), as well as a navigation application based on a cartographic service. The use of remote sensing data allows the agency's inspectors to effectively monitor the condition of agricultural land, identify areas overgrown with weeds and woody shrubs, and assess the degree of overgrowth, as well as monitor the overgrowth dynamics of abandoned agricultural land, even in remote areas.
In total, 250 control (supervisory) measures in the field of land control (supervision) were carried out using space monitoring technologies, during which about 10 thousand hectares of agricultural land were monitored.
Based on the results of the events, 305 warnings were issued to land rights holders.
So, on March 17, 2026, warnings were announced to the holders of a land plot (arable land) with an area of 73.8 hectares located in the Zavodoukovsky district of the Tyumen region. Semenov G.M., Sofronova A.A., Samsonova M.S., Ivanova E.A., Berezina R.N. Romanova A.A., Polovnikov V.M., who jointly own the site, did not take mandatory measures to protect agricultural land from overgrowth of weeds and woody vegetation. It is recommended that controlled entities take measures to protect land from overgrowth and involve it in agricultural turnover.
