The Prisma-2 satellite communications station manufactured by Rosel Holding of Rostec State Corporation has shown high reliability during long-haul flights. The product operates in the C-band, which is most resistant to precipitation and provides a stable communication channel in the open sea around the clock. Rescue and other vessels are already equipped with this equipment.

The station's antenna post has a special radio-transparent coating that protects the equipment from moisture and splashes, but does not interfere with the transmission of the signal. The station confidently maintains communication at speeds up to 40 knots (approximately 74 km/h) and even in a 6-7-point storm.

The hardware rack is located in the sub-deck area. The equipment includes a set of spare parts, tools and accessories (ZIP-O). It allows ship crews to independently carry out minor repairs and routine maintenance right during a long voyage. This is especially important for ships that have been in autonomous navigation for months: communication remains stable and ready to work at all times.
