Scientific organizations of the Moscow region can receive a grant to support livestock breeding

Professional educational and scientific organizations, as well as institutions of higher education are invited to participate in the competition, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region reports

"The grant in the form of subsidies is aimed at supporting livestock breeding. You can submit documents until October 14, the competition itself will be held from October 17 to October 28," said Georgy Filimonov, Deputy chairman of the government of the Moscow Region.

Organizations can receive a subsidy if, in the course of their work – scientific, scientific-technical and (or) educational – they produce agricultural products with subsequent primary and subsequent (industrial) processing.

The purpose of the grant is to maintain the number of breeding breeding stock of farm animals in these institutions.

During the current year, poultry farms of the egg sector should sell up to 35% of eggs and up to 60% of young animals in meat poultry farming for breeding purposes.

In rabbit breeding, it is necessary to realize at least 25% of the resulting offspring for breeding.

Institutions that engage in dairy cattle breeding must sell breeding young at least 10% of the breeding stock.
