The Government Commission for the Control of Foreign Investments has decided to extend the permission for Russian residents (organizations and citizens) to provide foreign currency loans to non-residents from friendly countries.
The corresponding extract from the minutes of the meeting of the government commission dated 03/20/2023 No. 148/1 was by the Ministry of Finance.
According to the document, residents are allowed to carry out currency transactions related to the provision of foreign currency in favor of non-residents from friendly countries under loan agreements.
In this case, we are talking about loans to non-residents who are not foreign persons associated with states that commit unfriendly actions against the Russian Federation, Russian companies and citizens.
Earlier, it was established that this permit is valid until March 31, 2023. Now it has been extended until June 30, 2023 inclusive.
