The Atlas of Russian projects for the production of low-carbon and carbon-free hydrogen and ammonia includes 33 projects in 18 regions of Russia.

"We have created an Atlas that serves as a reference point for both foreign investors and domestic machine builders," Denis Manturov said.

Today, hydrogen energy is considered worldwide as a promising method of decarbonization, since hydrogen is an environmentally friendly and universal energy carrier. It is predicted that hydrogen, used today mainly in the chemical industry and oil refining, in the future is able to become a new energy carrier and form a "hydrogen economy".

"Russian hydrogen projects will contribute to the decarbonization of industry, energy and the entire economy as a whole," stressed the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
