Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) is one of the 34 issuers whose shares are included in the new Moscow Stock Exchange index under the ICLIMATE code. Its calculation and publication started in July 2025.
The ICLIMATE, or the Climate Resilience Index of Non-financial Companies, is the result of a corresponding ranking of the leaders of the ESG agenda with a well-developed climate management system. Issuers are assessed according to 64 public indicators that determine the company's involvement in climate policy through the completeness of the work carried out to account for and monitor greenhouse gas emissions and removals, climate initiatives and best practices, as well as other factors.
All participants in the climate resilience rating are ranked at 10 levels from minimum (F) to maximum (AA) level. The ICLIMATE index calculation database includes shares of companies with ratings from E to AA.
The climate sustainability index of non-financial companies will become a guideline for both businesses that control their impact on the environmental situation, and for investors who choose securities for portfolios taking into account the environmental activities of issuers.
TMK's strategic Policy directions in the field of sustainable development include countering climate change. The Company keeps records of greenhouse gas emissions according to national and international methods, monitors climate risks and implements a climate change adaptation plan. The company has established competence centers to reduce climate impacts, developed a strategy for the company's development with low greenhouse gas emissions, and implemented a program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. TMK also develops and implements pipe solutions for energy transfer.
