The RT-Invest waste energy recycling plant of Rostec State Corporation has supplied 100 million kWh of green energy to the general grid since its opening at the end of last year. The company has processed over 200,000 tons of municipal waste, which was previously sent to landfills.

Every day, the energy recycling plant receives over 60 road trains with waste that have undergone preliminary industrial sorting and are not recyclable. With the help of waste-to-energy technology, over 2 thousand tons of such waste are disposed of per day.

"Our main task is to achieve a complete abandonment of landfill burial and to prevent pollution of vast territories. The positive effect on the environment is already visible in the example of our factory in Svistyagino. The waste he processed could occupy 1.5 hectares of land, which is like 25 suburban plots. Instead, we received "green" electricity, which can last for a month for 600,000 apartments," the Rostec State Corporation noted.

RT-Invest, Russia's first modern energy recycling plant, is located in the Voskresensk urban district of the Moscow Region. It is based on the most advanced energy utilization technologies. The plant was built by AGK-1 of the RT-Invest group of companies of Rostec State Corporation and commissioned at the end of December 2024. The grate incineration technology is used for waste disposal. In total, there are more than 2,500 grate installations with a capacity of 350 million tons of waste per year in the world.
