Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy summed up the results of the review competition on rationalization and invention for 2022. The best divisions and employees of the company were determined in five nominations.
In the nomination "The best innovator of Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy LLC", Ruslan Zaripov, chief power engineer- head of the Department of the Gas Field Department for the Development of Achimov deposits (GPUpRAO), was recognized as the winner. The second place in the competition was taken by Boris Pichugin, deputy head of the repair and mechanical workshop of the Department of Technological Transport and Special Equipment. Andrey Filippov, Head of the Technical Department of the Urengoy Gas Field Department (UGPU), closes the top three leaders.
The leading engineer of the technical department of UGPU Andrey Nazarov became the best young innovator of the enterprise.
The experts recognized two developments as the best rationalization proposals: "An alternative scheme for the transportation of liquid hydrocarbons from UKPG-2B to CDGGKN-2" and "A platform for the installation of heat exchange sections of AVO gas".
In the nomination "The best division for rationalization and Invention", the leaders were determined in two groups. In the first: Oil and gas Production Management — 1st place, Linear production Management of inter—field pipelines — second, GPUpRAO - "bronze" winner. In the second: Emergency Recovery Management — 1st place, 2nd place at Automation and Metrological support Management, closes the top three Communication Management.
GPUpRAO is recognized as the best division for rationalization activities aimed at improving the reliability of power equipment.
More than a thousand employees of the company took part in the competition, and the number of innovation proposals amounted to 689. Among them are 167 rational proposals with an economic effect. Also in 2022, Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy received 10 patents for inventions and utility models. 53 objects of patent rights have been used in the own production of the gas—producing enterprise, of which seven patents are with economic effect.

Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy LLC is a 100% subsidiary of Gazprom PJSC, created for the development of the Urengoy oil and gas condensate field. The production complex includes: 23 integrated gas treatment plants, two workshops for the extraction of gas, gas condensate and oil, 20 booster compressor stations, five gas cooling stations, over 2,800 production wells, two compressor stations for the utilization of associated petroleum gas and a condensate pumping station.
