Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade and VTB to ensure the development of the investment program of the United Shipbuilding Corporation by July 3, 2024. This is reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers following the results of the strategic session on the development of the United Shipbuilding Corporation.
The program should include measures to upgrade existing and create new production facilities in order to achieve the stated strategic development goals of the corporation until 2035.
In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade must finalize and approve the development strategy of the United Shipbuilding Corporation by October 2, 2024, providing for the introduction of the best practices of the Government Coordination Center for Monitoring and coordinating the implementation of strategic development measures.
The United Shipbuilding Corporation is the largest industry structure, which includes up to 80% of all shipbuilding capacities.
