The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved amendments to the regulation of the import and export of precious metals and raw materials containing precious metals. This is stated in the message of the EEC.

The changes are aimed at liberalizing the import and export of certain categories of precious metals, simplifying the passage of state control, optimizing the list of documents provided by a participant in foreign trade activities to state bodies, as well as applying uniform non-tariff regulation measures to identical goods.

In particular, goods whose share of precious metals does not exceed 2% by weight are excluded from regulation.

In addition, taking into account the possibility of obtaining documents in electronic form, it is allowed to submit copies of documents for state control.

The requirements for the availability of a document on the conditions for processing goods outside the customs territory of the EAEU are excluded if the purpose of applying the customs procedure for processing outside the customs territory is to repair goods, and a number of other changes are made.
