The schedule of some suburban trains of the Kursk and Riga directions of the Moscow Railways, as well as the MCD-2, will change on April 28-29, May 4-6 in connection with the overhaul of the 1st main track on the Moscow-Tovarnaya-Kurskaya – Lyublino Sortirovochnoye section. In total, during the repair and travel campaign, it is planned to update 6.1 km of track here, lay a new switch. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Railways.

Technological "windows" are assigned on weekends, when passenger traffic is minimal. So, in April, the work will be carried out for 26 hours, from 02:00 on April 28 to 04:00 on April 29, in May - during the 48-hour technological "window" from 02:00 on May 4 to 2:00 on May 6.

The work will be carried out using the "closed stage" technology. The railway workers will carry out a full cycle of repair and track work: dismantling of the old rail grating and laying a new one, cleaning and filling of crushed stone ballast, straightening of the track, as well as welding of the jointless track.

During the period of work, train traffic will be organized on adjacent tracks in reverse mode. In this regard, significant adjustments have been made to the schedule: some trains will change the departure and arrival times, a number of commuter trains will follow a shortened route, some trains will be temporarily removed from the schedule.

The trains of the MCD-2 in the Kursk direction will run from and to Tsaritsyno and, on the Rizhsky – from and to the Kursk railway station. Some long-distance commuter trains will also run to Tsaritsyno and Kursky Railway Station.
