Transmashholding has no assets left in Kazakhstan

Transmashholding (TMH) has no assets left in Kazakhstan. Previously, TMH owned shares in several machine-building enterprises in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Orda reports.kz with reference to the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Since 2012, the Russian holding company owned half of the JSC "Locomotive Assembly Plant" (LKZ) controlled by KTZ. Since 2018, TMH has been implementing a joint project for the production of traction transformers for electric locomotives at the ESZ plant (Electric Locomotive Assembly Plant LLP) in Astana together with the French company Alstom. In 2022, the Russian company began to dispose of assets in Kazakhstan. Now both plants are fully owned by other foreign investors.

"One hundred percent holder of securities of JSC "Locomotive Kurastru Zauyty" is Wabtec Transportation Engines Holding B.V. (USA). The share of ownership of Alstom Netherlands B.V. (parent TNK Alstom, France) in JSC Kurastyru Zauyty Electric Locomotive is 100%," the message says.

JSC Transmashholding (TIN 7723199790) unites enterprises of transport engineering that develop and produce electric locomotives, diesel locomotives, passenger and freight wagons, diesel locomotives and marine diesels, subway cars, electric and diesel trains, car casting, components and equipment for railway rolling stock.
