IC Absolut Insurance provided insurance protection for the exhibition, which is part of the long-term project "A safe thing. A journey from St. Petersburg to Moscow." This is the result of the joint work of two major museums: the St. Petersburg Sheremetyevo Palace and the Moscow Ostankino and Kuskovo Museum-Reserve.
The exhibition takes place in the Sheremetyevo Palace. Visitors will be able to see in the Ceremonial Suite the items of the family coat of arms, included in the collection of the Kuskovo estate, and the clock from the Ostankino estate.
The exhibits are insured in IC Absolut Insurance under a program that provides protection against all risks during packaging, unpacking, loading, unloading, transportation, installation, dismantling, temporary storage and display.
The Sheremetyevo Palace is one of the most interesting sights of St. Petersburg, almost the same age as the city. Another name of the palace is the Fountain House, as the building occupies a vast area on the Fontanka River embankment. The last owners of the palace on Fontanka are Sergey Dmitrievich and Alexander Dmitrievich Sheremetev. Both brothers were well-known patrons and keepers of the traditions of their kind, who left a noticeable mark on Russian culture.
