The city has canceled an increased payment and a fee for changing the type of permitted use (VRI) for the construction of administrative buildings inside the Third Transport Ring (TTK), said Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction.

Recall that in the first year of the lease of a land plot for the construction or reconstruction of office facilities, investors must make an additional increased payment, the amount of which depends on the area of the object being built.

"Since 2019, the increased payment has been canceled for developers building commercial real estate outside the TTK. During this time, 91 additional agreements were signed to lease agreements, according to which they will build business complexes, shopping centers and other facilities with a total area of almost 1.2 million square meters on 79 hectares of land. This year, payment for the construction of administrative buildings inside the TTK was also canceled," he said Vladimir Efimov.

The emergence of new commercial facilities contributes to the development of urban infrastructure and job creation.

"The cancellation of the increased payment will allow developers to reduce the cost of implementing commercial projects that could have been unprofitable under previous conditions. The increased fee for changing the type of permitted use of land plots during the construction of business management facilities inside the TTK has also been canceled," said the head of the City Property Department Maxim Gaman.

Previously, the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin approved a set of measures to support the capital's investors as part of a program to stimulate the creation of jobs.
