Sitronics Group, a Russian developer of digital solutions for government and business, has become an official partner of the Leaders of Digital Transformation hackathon, implemented by the Moscow Innovation Agency. The company's experts have joined the jury of a large-scale Russian competition for IT specialists, they will evaluate the decisions of participants from all over Russia and abroad.

"Leaders of Digital Transformation is one of the most prestigious competitions for developers. We became his partners for the second time, because last year we appreciated the high level of professionalism of the participants and the degree of elaboration of the task in a fairly short time. This year, we proposed to the participants of the hackathon to create an ML algorithm that will effectively process satellite images. The company is actively expanding its own civilian satellite constellation to increase the frequency of updates and the amount of data transmitted. By the end of this year, Sitronics Group plans to increase it to 80 AIS satellites and 7 optical remote sensing devices.

In addition, Sitronics Group creates its own digital services based on satellite data. For example, the Russian cloud service of the SiAIS satellite automatic identification system (C-AIS) for fleet monitoring in the world ocean. The company is also developing a service for providing remote sensing data. Therefore, the task of developing an algorithm that will effectively process satellite images, as well as restore and supplement damaged or incomplete data, is proposed for the participants of the hackathon. The developers will be provided with a data set of the Russian orbital grouping, including satellite images and technical documentation of the project.
