A commission pre-flood inspection of hydraulic structures was carried out at the Surgut GRES-2 branch of PJSC Unipro.
All the hydromechanical equipment of spillways and culverts has been tested and tested in operation. An external inspection of the waterworks was carried out. Acts on the readiness of structures and hydromechanical equipment for flood control in 2024 have been drawn up.
According to the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Ob-Irtysh UGMS", the expected opening time of the Ob River in the Surgut area is April 30 (+/– 5 days), and the projected maximum level of the Ob River during the spring flood is 640-710 cm. These parameters are within the range of long-term average values.
The indicator of the water reserve, which was recorded in the snow cover in the area of Surgut on April 10, is 166 mm. This is 10 mm above the long-term average values and 50-60 mm below the maximum values for the observation period.
The hydraulic structures serviced by Surgutskaya GRES-2 ensure the maintenance of the specified parameters of the Surgut reservoir (the waters of SuGRES-2 and SuGRES-1) and reliable operation of the equipment of both GRES.
