The Aqua Resort project in the Prokshino sports and event cluster, which A101 Group implements in the southwestern direction of Moscow, became a finalist for the SBK award and became one of the best sports and entertainment projects in Russia.
The SBK Award has gathered sports business professionals for the seventh time: construction, management, technology and innovation. The award went to the best projects, sports facilities and managers at the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024.
The 125.5 thousand square meter aqua resort will become the largest indoor water entertainment facility in Russia. It is expected that about 1 million people a year will visit it. The project will create more than 400 new jobs. The project was carried out by the architectural bureau UNK architects.
In particular, there will be a water park with an indoor and one year-round swimming pool, water attractions, as well as a thermal complex, SPA and the first canyoning zone in the Moscow region. The aquakurort will also open the first professional diving center in Moscow with a pool depth of up to 25 meters, as well as an ocean wave surfing center. For those who want to spend the whole weekend here, a 4-star hotel is provided.
The area around the aqua resort will be integrated into a large park area, which will connect all the facilities of the sports and event cluster and will become the main route from the metro station. An urban promenade, pedestrian and bicycle paths will be created here, and growing trees, including perennial oaks, will be preserved.
The Prokshino sports and event cluster is being created by A101 Group of Companies in the Novomoskovskiy District of Moscow, in close proximity to the Prokshino metro station on the Sokolnicheskaya Line. The cluster will offer visitors more than 50 options for leisure activities and various sports at the amateur and professional levels. The potential capacity of the cluster will be about 17 million visits per year. In addition, about 23 thousand new jobs will be created in TiNAO as part of the project.
