The Federal Tax Service warned the organization that it is necessary to transfer advance payments for transport and land taxes, as well as property tax for the first quarter of 2024 by May 2.
In its message, the Federal Tax Service explained that the deadline for payment of such payments is no later than April 28, but since April 28, 29 and 30 are days off, May 1 is a public holiday, therefore, the payment deadline is postponed to the next working day.
In order to distribute advance payments in the budget system of the Russian Federation, taxpayers-organizations must submit a notification of the calculated amounts of advance payments for property taxes. It is submitted to the tax authority at the place of registration no later than April 25.
Organizations may not pay advance payments on property taxes if the laws of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation (in terms of property tax and transport tax) or local laws (in terms of land tax) expressly provide that advance payments are not made.
