Yandex Maps has updated the parking mode. Now the application not only allows you to find and pay for parking in Moscow, but also reminds you to complete it on time. In addition, it is now convenient to find places of past parking in the application and check the parking bill, and the status of the current parking is visible even on the locked screen. The update will help drivers not to miss important information about parking and not to lose money if it is completed early.
Information about the parking session is now visible in Live Activity mode on the iPhone, and for Android owners, parking statuses appear in the notification curtain. Even if the app is minimized, it will warn the driver that the payment has not passed or the parking time is coming to an end. If the driver goes on the road without completing parking, the Cards will remind you of this.
In addition, the design of the Parking section in the Maps profile has been updated. Now you can view the parking history on one screen, check and immediately top up your parking account, add or remove a car. The parking history has become more detailed — a map has been added to it so that it is easier for drivers to find the place of the previous parking.
The updated parking mode is available in the latest version of the Yandex Maps and Navigator applications.
