EDPR closes deal to sell Canadian wind farm

EDP Renovaveis SA has completed a purchase and sale deal with Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure, also known as CC&L Infrastructure, for an 80% stake in a 297 MW wind farm in Canada. This is reported by foreign media.

The transaction value is about 700 million Canadian dollars ($508.9 million or 476.6 million euros).

The wind farm was put into operation in January 2024. The facility operates in accordance with an agreement with TC Energy Corp.

EDP Renovaveis SA is a renewable energy company registered in Oviedo with headquarters in Madrid, which designs, develops, manages and operates power plants that generate electricity using renewable energy sources.
