The MTS Board of Directors recommended to the annual meeting of shareholders, which will be held on June 26, 2024, to approve the payment of dividends for the full year 2023 in the amount of 35 rubles per share. The total amount of dividends is 68.6 billion rubles. This is stated in the company's message.
The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders will be held in the form of absentee voting. The list of persons entitled to participate in the meeting will be compiled as of June 3.
The MTS Board of Directors approved a new dividend policy for 2024-2026, according to which the target dividend yield is at least 35 rubles per ordinary share of MTS PJSC during each calendar year.
The new dividend policy provides for the payment of dividends once a year with the possibility of changing the frequency of dividend payments during the calendar year on the recommendation of the Board of Directors. When determining dividend payments, MTS will take into account a number of factors, including cash flow from operating activities, capital expenditures and debt position.
Recall that MTS shareholders at the annual meeting decided to pay dividends at the end of the 2022 financial year in the amount of 67.2 billion rubles at the rate of 34.29 rubles per ordinary share.
