Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the federal law "On Amendments to Part Two of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation and Article 3 of the Federal Law "On Amendments to Part Two of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation and Article 1 of the Federal Law "On Amendments to Part Two of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation". This is reported on the Kremlin's website.
In accordance with the law, in order to collect excise duty on the import and export of excisable goods of the EAEU, special accounting and control stamps are introduced, applied to packages of tobacco and excisable nicotine-containing products.
The law clarifies the excise tax rates for fortified wine, fortified wine in bulk and sparkling wines, including Russian champagne, as well as the procedure for applying a tax deduction when determining the amount of excise tax on these excisable goods.
