By the end of 2024, thanks to the national project "Safe high−quality Roads", almost 700 artificial structures − bridges, overpasses, overpasses - located on the regional and local road network will be put into operation.
It is planned to repair, including capital repairs, 49.6 thousand square meters of artificial structures located on the regional and local road network. To build and reconstruct − another 11.3 thousand square meters. The work will take place not only at large facilities, but also on small bridges that play an important role in ensuring public transport accessibility.
So, in Veliky Novgorod, the overhaul of the overpass along the Luga highway continues. The structure, built in 1963, provides a transport link between the Luga highway and the federal highway M-10 "Russia". In addition, it is a route to the largest chemical enterprise in the region.
The length of the facility is 480 sq. m. In the process of major repairs, the bearing capacity of the span of the structure will be restored, a leveling layer of concrete, waterproofing and drainage will be arranged. The roadway will be paved, which will be separated from the sidewalks by a metal barrier fence. A railing is mounted on the outer sides of the span. It is planned to complete the work in full by the end of 2024. Construction and installation works are carried out in technological "windows" in coordination with JSC "Russian Railways" in conditions of reverse movement of vehicles.
On Banzarova Street in Kyakhta (Republic of Buryatia) The overhaul of the bridge, which connects the central part of the city with the neighborhoods, continues. The structure is actually being rebuilt, it will replace the old wooden bridge, which was recognized as an emergency one. The length of the facility is 27 sq. m.
Work on the facility has been underway since last year. It remains for the contractor to lay the asphalt concrete pavement both on the structure itself and on the approaches to it. The selection of mixtures for the future coating has already passed laboratory control. The construction readiness of the facility is 80%.
In the Primorsky district The Arkhangelsk region continues major repairs of the overpass at the Isakogorka station on the Isakogorka – Novodvinsk – Kholmogory highway. The facility, which provides access to the city of Novodvinsk, where one of the largest enterprises in the region, Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill, is located, was in poor condition and did not ensure the movement of vehicles with a regulatory load.
The length of the overpass is 157.5 square meters, the work here has been going on for about a year. Major repairs are being carried out without stopping traffic: the left lane is available for motorists, the work on the right has already been completed. In summer, traffic will be carried out here without restrictions. The contractor should complete the entire volume of construction and installation work and put the facility into operation this autumn.
