An exclusive batch of MP–512 air rifles with highly artistic engraving was made at the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant of the Kalashnikov Concern. Each of the ten rifles has a unique dragon image made on the receiver in the technique of cartridge engraving, and is presented in a single copy.

The works are performed both by classical methods of engraving, and using pouring with special colored paints for metal processing, and even with inlay with precious metals.

For the exclusive series, a bed from the MR–161 "Manul" product was used with minor modifications. It is made of high-quality walnut, coated with drying oil or varnish, favorably emphasizing the noble wood pattern. Especially for this series, engravers, designers and woodcarvers of IMZ have developed an original grid pattern, which is applied to the bed using a laser.

All rifles are equipped with a wide Picatinny rail. It was used for the first time in the MR-512 air rifles manufactured by Izhmeh.

Each rifle has a passport with the names of the designer, engraver, woodcarver, as well as an individual number and engraving pattern. The first products received serial numbers from 000001 to 000010. The limited edition MR–512 is available for sale.

"The production of the exclusive series took three months. This indicates that IMZ retains and develops competencies in the field of highly artistic engraving of weapons: new techniques for applying unique drawings on metal are being mastered at the enterprise. Today, the plant is ready to produce products with artistic engraving in limited batches and on an individual order," said Oleg Sapozhnikov, commercial director of the enterprise.
