On April 24, a delegation of the Eurasian Economic Commission headed by Nikolai Rogozhnik, Deputy Director of the Department of Industrial Policy, visited the annual international forum "Autonet" in Moscow, dedicated to the development of highly automated transport, automotive digital services and transport and logistics services.
Within the framework of the plenary session on the application of intelligent systems in the field of road infrastructure and vehicles, discussions were held with representatives of the business community. Nikolay Rogozhnik noted the prospects for cooperation at the EEC site within the framework of specialized working groups in order to solve urgent problems of the industry, and also presented a new mechanism for financial assistance to cooperative industrial projects in the Eurasian Economic Union.
On the sidelines of the forum, a working meeting was held with representatives of the Association of Developers, Manufacturers and Consumers of Equipment and Applications based on global Navigation Satellite Systems GLONASS/GNSS-Forum. The expansion of cooperation and popularization of satellite navigation technologies, primarily the GLONASS system, to expand their use in the countries of the Union were discussed. The parties agreed to work out a number of issues on this topic within the framework of a special working group at the Commission's site.
