Rosgosstrakh is strengthening cooperation with Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management, one of the leading universities in the region that trains specialists for the financial industry. The other day, the head of the "Loss Settlement" Block, Arman Gasparyan, delivered a lecture for students studying in the field of "Insurance Business" and "Financial Economics". He spoke about possible scenarios for the development of the domestic insurance market and how to build a successful career in Russia's largest insurance company.

After graduating from the university with a degree in Finance and Credit, Arman Gasparyan went through a career path in insurance from a specialist to the head of the Loss Settlement Unit at Rosgosstrakh. "I have been working in the insurance industry for 27 years. I was looking for a job on my own, I considered vacancies for myself either in banks or in insurance companies, and the choice fell on the latter. The path in insurance has been difficult, having tried himself in almost all areas of this business, but, as they say, the easy way always leads to an unstable result," Arman Gasparyan said.

He outlined the main trends in the insurance market for the students of NGUEU. First of all, Arman Gasparyan highlighted digitalization as one of the main tools for forming a client-centered model of interaction with consumers of services. "It is necessary to reduce operating costs and expenses in order to increase labor productivity. Therefore, everyone went to the "digital": first banks, then insurance companies," he explained.

The top manager of Rosgosstrakh noted that client-centricity makes it possible to prepare an offer for a particular policyholder faster and better, and this makes it more likely to satisfy his need. And the transition to the digital space helps a lot in this. Today, customers have the opportunity to find out all the information about the service on the smartphone screen, on the insurer's portal and in its social networks. And you can also sign a contract in a convenient sales channel for him.

"The speed and ease of interaction with the insurance company is an important factor. Payment methods for insurance services are also expanding. For example, subscription is becoming increasingly popular, when payments for insurance protection are debited from the client in small amounts monthly. In addition, such insurance can be made interval—based and connected only when necessary," Arman Gasparyan explained.

It is also important to pay attention to the service. The quality of service determines whether the client will contact the company again. Mainly, insurance companies strive to compensate for damage as soon as possible after an insured event. So, today there are implemented loss settlement technologies, when only a few hours pass from the moment of claiming an insured event to payment. These processes are based on artificial intelligence technologies. "With the growing influence of new technologies on the insurance industry, the requirements for the qualifications of employees and training programs for specialists in educational institutions will also change," Arman Gasparyan concluded his speech.

After the lecture, the top manager of Rosgosstrakh discussed with the rector of NGUEU Pavel Novgorodov the issues of training young specialists. Our company is connected with the university by long-term cooperation, students are interning in the divisions of the branch in the Novosibirsk region, the university has opened a registered classroom of Rosgosstrakh. Now it requires modernization, taking into account current trends in the development of the insurance industry, and Arman Gasparyan assured the rector that the company will carry out the necessary updates to improve the efficiency of the educational process, as well as provide an opportunity for the best graduates to start a career in the team of the most famous insurer in Russia.
