In January-August 2020, industrial production in Russia decreased by 4.5% year-on-year, in August alone, it fell by 7.2% year-on-year, according to a statement by Russia's Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
In August, industrial production increased by 2.9% year-on-year. Excluding the seasonal and calendar factors, industrial production increased by 0.5%.
