A new 7.8 km long bypass of Alushta has been opened in Crimea, on which 9 artificial structures have been built, including a bridge over the Ulu-Uzen River, a viaduct, and 7 overpasses. This is reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The construction of the bypass is aimed at unloading the Alushta street and road network from transit traffic and increasing the capacity of the Simferopol -Yalta route by reducing travel time.
The implementation of the infrastructure project is carried out within the framework of the state program "Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol". Work has now started on the next stage, which involves the construction of a 16.1 km section on the Perevalnoye — Izobilnoye section.
