Aeroflot does not plan to pay dividends for 2022. This is stated in the company's message following the meeting of the Board of directors.
Following the discussion on approaches to the distribution of net profit/loss, it was noted that at present, in the existing external conditions, maintaining a sufficient reserve of liquidity and cash on the company's accounts is a priority and a necessary condition for ensuring the stability of the business, and hence the interests of partners, shareholders and employees.
At the same time, the company remains committed to the dividend policy, aims to pay dividends and plans to consider this issue in the future taking into account the interests of the company and its shareholders.
Recall that by the end of 2021, there were also no planned dividend payments.
Aeroflot is a Russian airline. The group of the same name also includes Rossiya and Pobeda airlines. The total share in the Russian market in 2021 was 39.1%. In 2022, Aeroflot transported 20.5 million people, and taking into account the airlines of the Aeroflot group — 40.7 million. By 2030, the group intends to acquire 339 aircraft of domestic production.
