Information about the fuel class should be reflected in a form accessible to consumers. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak at a meeting on the situation on the domestic fuel market, according to the Cabinet's website.
In particular, the meeting discussed the organization of work to ensure fuel labeling within the framework of a government decree providing for the possibility of producing, importing, releasing and circulating gasoline of environmental classes K2, K3 and K4 by July 1, 2027. This is a temporary measure aimed at saturating the domestic market with the necessary volumes of fuel and maintaining its stability.
Following the meeting, Alexander Novak instructed relevant departments, regional authorities and oil companies to continue work on supplying the domestic market with fuel, monitor price dynamics and ensure uninterrupted delivery of petroleum products to end users.
