ALROSA's revenue in 2021 increased by 49%

The volume of ALROSA diamond production in 2021 amounted to 32.4 million carats, an increase of 8%. Sales increased by 42% to 45.5 million carats, revenue from the sale of diamond products - by 49% to $ 4.17 billion. This is evidenced by the company's data.

In the fourth quarter, diamond production increased by 29% to 9.1 million carats. Sales decreased by 45% to 9.4 million carats. Revenue from the sale of diamond products amounted to $895 million, a decrease of 27% year-on-year.

ALROSA (TIN 1433000147) is one of the largest diamond mining companies in the world, accounting for 97% of all Russian diamonds and about 25% of world production. The company includes: "ESO ALROSA", "ALROSA Diamonds", as well as Aikhalsky, Mirninsky, Udachninsky and Nyurbinsky GOK. The largest shareholders of ALROSA are Rosimushchestvo and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

ALROSA's net profit under IFRS for the first half of 2021 increased 16.3 times to RUB 54.2 billion from RUB 3.3 billion a year earlier. Revenue increased 2.5 times to RUB 184.4 billion from RUB 73.1 billion, EBITDA increased 2.6 times to RUB 79 billion from RUB 30.1 billion.
