Consumer prices in the Russian Federation increased by 0.96% in the week from September 29 to October 5, and by 0.9% since the beginning of the month. Since the beginning of the year, inflation has been 5.94%. This is reported in the materials of Rosstat.
Annual inflation, according to the Ministry of Economic Development, reached 7.17%. Gasoline prices increased by 0.29% from September 29 to October 5, and by 22.55% over the year. Food products rose in price by 0.17% (+5.18%) during the week. Non-food products became more expensive by 0.13% (+6.53%).
Prices for services (tourist, regulated and household) increased by 5.14% over the week, mainly due to the indexation of housing and communal services. Over the year, the indicator increased by 12.44%.
