Since this year's program of government-supported mortgage lending was launched, Zenit Bank has provided 353 mortgage loans for a total amount of RUB 1.02 billion. The average loan amount is RUB 2.9 million. Moscow took the lead in the number of such mortgage loans (262 transactions for a total amount of RUB 780.5 million). In January-August 2020, Zenit Bank doubled sales of mortgage loans compared to the 2019 levels, the bank informed.
Bank Zenit offers mortgage loans under the "Government-supported Mortgage Lending 2020" program for the purchase of apartments in new buildings at a rate of 6.3% p.a. The initial payment starts from 15%, mortgage loans under this program are provided for up to 25 years.
Bank Zenit was established in 1995. PJSC Tatneft owns 71.1% of the credit institution's shares. Zenit Banking Group was established in 2005 as Bank Zenit (tax number: 7729405872) acquired a controlling stake in JSB Devon-Credit. In 2007, Lipetskkombank and Sochigazprombank (renamed as Bank Zenit Sochi) joined the group. In December 2008, the group took over Spiritbank (Tula).
