Guardian Metal Resources plc, a British tungsten mining company in Nevada, has acquired 59 new sites in the Walker Lane Mineral Belt region as part of the Pilot North Tungsten Project. This is reported in the Guardian Metal press release.
The new sites, located 15 km northwest of the main Pilot Mountain project, include three tungsten mines (Copper Head, Western Metals and Jasper) and strengthen Guardian Metal's position as a key player in restoring tungsten production in the United States.
From the point of view of Guardian Metal management, the Pilot North project has promising geology and is a natural complement to the Pilot Mountain project. Initial exploration confirmed the presence of a key indicator of deposits of tungsten and copper.
The U.S. government has classified tungsten as an essential mineral. Guardian Metal's projects aim to reduce dependence on foreign supplies while leveraging Nevada's mineral-rich geology.
Guardian Metal Resources is a British company engaged in the exploration and exploitation of mineral resources (tungsten, copper, gold, silver, lithium and zinc). The company's flagship project is the Pilot Mountain Project in Nevada. The headquarters is located in London (UK).
