Cargo turnover of commercial seaports of the Russian Federation in January-May 2026 amounted to 369,630 thousand tons. This is 3.7% higher than the level of the previous year, according to materials posted on the website of the Maritime Center.
Shipments in the export sector increased by 3.5% to 290.602.8 thousand tons. Coastal cargoes handled 33,888.6 thousand tons (+21.6%). Transit decreased by 8.2% to 27.740 thousand tons. Transshipment of imports decreased by 0.8% to 17.398.6 thousand tons.
Transshipment of dry cargo increased by 6.1% to 182,138.8 thousand tons, bulk cargo - by 1.5% to 187,491.2 thousand tons.
Transshipment increased by 51.7% in the Caspian basin, by 14.2% in the Arctic, by 8.8% in the Far East, and by 3.1% in the Azov–Black Sea basin. Transshipment decreased by 4.7% in the Baltic Basin.
